North Oxfordshire's Katharine House Hospice is to receive a funding boost of over £100,00 as part of the government's newly announced £75 million boost for hospices to transform end-of-life care with upgrades including specially adapted beds, rooms, and technology.

75% of pensioners will now receive Winter Fuel Payments, benefitting nine million more pensioners.

Great to see that builders will be required to fit solar panels to new build homes in England.

This will save the typical household £500 a year on energy bills and will reduce carbon emissions, taking us closer to the target of Net Zero by 2050.

This afternoon, I raised a question in the chamber on the important point of veteran homelessness - ensuring the government provides extra support for veterans in Banbury with regards to homelessness.

This morning we visited Coin Street, a community-led housing project with Andrew Pakes MP.

We believe the democratic model at the heart of co-operative and community-led housing can deliver higher quality homes, better community engagement, and lower costs.
