Town buses are community. I am proud of ours. Seeing passengers all cooperating to find family, contacts and help for the vulnerable, inebriated, person adrift in the cold at the bus stop was reassuring. Most people are good. Our community cares. #community #publictransport

And so it begins. I'm ridiculously excited for this renovation. I may be freezing cold and without a toilet for a few hours/ days, but I'm thankful for a landlady who is dragging my home (and water system) from 1970s into present day. Heating to be installed after this. Yay! #thankful #bathroom

Libraries provide a crucial service to the city, not least for the worst-off. Our valued community spaces need to be protected and invested in.

Edinburgh showed up for PRIDE, so did my daughter and I. It was way bigger than my pictures can depict. So happy that we made it, we had a great afternoon together. The stage show looked good, but an enclosed crowd is a bit too much for me. #pride #edinbughpride #pride2025 #edinburgh
