Welcome to Derry is good but I really find their commitment to making the worst possible things happen to their characters so consistently really annoying. Like once in a while shouldn’t things go their way, even by accident? Makes it hard to bother rooting for them.

I liked the ending of Stranger Things, but it is hilarious that the ending, which turns this immortal creepy child predator into a much less scary space spider, is exactly the same as the much derided ending of Stephen King's IT. Like you weren't supposed to copy THAT part.

I'm not obsessed with Stranger Things or anything but I think people are letting the fridge logic win. If you just watch the finale for vibes it's actually satisfying and good. If you think this is a bad finale I'm happy for you and the nice time you've had with TV shows.
