Plenty of other professions have been treated far worse. I’m usually sympathetic to junior doctors. But, like many others, I think that sympathy has run dry.

It’s exactly the same thing, you should be totally furious! It’s everything ppl warned it would be (and more). The U.S. has been celebrating its stand against facism (tho late 2 the party) in film and media for 80 yrs. That it has(/is) responded so feebly is a damning indictment.

Ppl in Europe fucking hate him. His recent visit to UK was heavily coordinated to avoid him ever coming into contact with the public. He’s everything that Europeans despise all rolled into one giant orange lump of lard.

Totally forgot about this guy since leaving xitter. The irony of this is that today he will be pedalling xenophobic/fascist nonsense. Next week he’ll be telling us London is unsafe bc ppl hurl abuse at him when they see him in the street. Zero connection between cause and effect.

Trumps base don’t travel, most probably don’t have passports. It’s the reason they so easily fall for Trumps lies, without outside exposure to alternative world views.
