Can anyone explain—in the context of overwork and resource constraints—why universities continue to persist on enforcing 100% double marking (2 marks for each assignment)?! Such an insane waste of time and resources when more efficient/rigorous approaches are available. #highered #university

Well done to Nick Robinson for not—as many are—overlooking the political context of the bondi shootings, namely the situation in Gaza. Other commentary talks about these events as if they’re transpiring out of nowhere, some inexplicable uptick in antisemitism #r4today

Can anyone explain why #mufc have so few Saturday fixtures? Less than half of their games have been played on a sat, their last Sat fixture was 8th November (v Spurs) and next is 17th July (v city). @david-ornstein.bsky.social @unitedstands.bsky.social @mufczone.bsky.social

I really think it’s time Justin packs up his things and heads over to GB News. He’s barely able to contain conspiracy theory leanings and MAGA admiration. He tries to disguise it as contrarianism, but it’s there bubbling away every time I listen to him #r4today

What we're seeing is exactly what we saw in the late 1940s, the late 1960s and the mid- to late 1970s: a concerted and hysterical campaign to delegitimise a Labour government, and indeed the very idea of Labour governments at all.
