Endorsed for banter and dolphin facts. Has worn many hats, and was never told there would be so many rodeos. Don't blame my employer for the dumb things I say, and never assume anything I say here is correct.

I will never understand why this is not widely regarded as the best version of Little Drummer Boy. Because it is, especially at the end where they just go full punk with the thing. www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nm2G...

Every single 8 a.m. meeting ever is an indication that something has gone badly awry, and no 8 a.m. meeting ever has un-awry'd it.

My questionable holiday gift to you all, two short and completely pointless playlists:
Songs that make you go "woo" (open.spotify.com/playlist/6Wt...) and
Songs that make you go "beep" (open.spotify.com/playlist/76i...)

Now maybe I can get this out of my head.

I was reminded today that there are still people out there who think SAFe agile isn't a bad joke.

Takes all kinds, I guess.

A brief history of why we have car fuel economy standards:

- In 1973-1974 we had the Arab Oil Embargo. Oil and gas prices tripled overnight, if you could get gas at all. Gas stations had lines around the block or "no gas"signs out front. American struggled to keep their V8 gas guzzlers fueled up.

Putting together my annual "Best of" list for 2025 music, realizing that half of it actually came out in 2024, and thinking that I'll have to add "music" to the Big List of Things That Disappointed Me in 2025.

Thankful for the wonderful folks I call friends and colleagues. Even if we haven’t talked in awhile, I’m thinking of you and am grateful you have been a part of my life.

I wrote about something most leaders eventually learn the hard way: feedback doesn’t scale.

At five people, it’s a conversation.

At 50, it’s complicated.

At 200, it’s a wall of sound and everyone is yelling.

What do you do with that?

"HAL is a paradigm shift in ML, with bleeding-edge neural heuristics and real-time emotion synthesis. HAL sees your existential needs, blending task execution with delightful conversation. He’s not just opening doors—he’s opening possibilities."

I think at this point I need a "Holy shit, this just went down" feed that's nothing but the latest updates on what just went down, updated minute by minute.

Or maybe that's the *last* thing I need. I'm not sure.

Extremely niche opinion: Gerald Collier should've been a much bigger deal, and his cover of "Rocket Man" is far superior to My Morning Jacket (and he did it decades earlier). open.spotify.com/track/0pkaBF...
