#Mets add another piece to the bullpen with Luke Weaver. Was great in 2024, ok year last year. High strike out rate, walk rate is a little high. Feel like they need one more big arm in the bullpen. Would still love to see a trade for Megill.

I also have to wonder if the #Mets are trying to set up this team to get under the luxury tax in 2027, which is the first year there’s an a small chance, and hope that they have multiple prospects pan out. I’d assume Steve is tired of paying an extra 100 mil a year along with the other penalties.

If the Royals are actually shopping Cole Ragans I’d have some interest. But the injury history and the fact he’s only thrown more than 100 innings once is a bit worrisome.
They probably need to find a guy this offseason who is just going to eat innings.

If the Royals are actually shopping Cole Ragans I’d have some interest. But the injury history and the fact he’s only thrown more than 100 innings once is a bit worrisome.

The #Mets also need to have a serious conversation with Soto about moving to first and signing Tucker or Bellinger. But both would require long contracts and with the Mets getting out of Nimmos im not sure how interested they’d be in that.

Tigers will probably want a lot of pitching in return. The top of their system is all bats.
I have two untouchables in the system and that’s Tong and Benge (I’m not counting McClean).
Even for Skubal, I want to keep those guys.
For Skubal I’d trade Jett, Ewing/Reimer, David Peterson, and Jack Wenninger. (Or Sproat if he’s not in other deals)

Luis Robert seems like a strong change of scenery candidate. Peralta would be the 1-2 on the staff, Megill adds a weapon in the pen.
Some realistic moves I think the #Mets could make. Trade for Luis Robert, upside probably costs you someone in the top 10, maybe Ryan Clifford, and a couple throws ins? Trade for Peralta and Megill for Sproat, Watson, and Baro.
