slurping some chicken soup on this shaky double decker like it’s some sort of sippee cup. Loud music no headphones isn’t the death of public transport etiquette, it’s ME and I am ashamed. Please excommunicate me

The Pro Family Forum’s early 80s Satanic Panic pamphlet "Dungeons and Dragons: Only a Game?” has it all:
- a great cover
- a description of D&D guaranteed to entice 14 year olds
- a list of other, “more sophisticated and cruel" fantasy TTRPGs to try
“Dungeons and Dragons: Only a Game?” in a cool fantasy typeface with cool black and white insert art of a spooky castle, a dragon breathing fire, and a sword. It looks like an unofficial third-party small press D&D supplement from 1981. Tell me more about this game! “What is D&D? After extensive research, the Christian Life Ministries concludes: 'DUNGEONS & DRAGONS instead of a game is a teaching on demonology, witchcraft, voodoo, murder, rape, blasphemy, suicide, assassination, insanity, sex perversion, homosexuality, prostitution, Satan worship, gambling, Jungian psychology, barbarism, cannibalism, sadism, desecration, demon summoning, necromantics, divination and many more teachings, brought to you in living color direct from the pit of Hell!!!'" “Other FRP Games: New games are being created, more sophisticated and cruel than the original D&D, such as RuneQuest, Chivalry & Sorcery, Arduin Grimoire, Tunnels and Trolls, etc."

I am looking for a parent and fresher to chat to for Money Box Live next Wednesday. In my Ideal Radio Dream World, you’d be willing to audio record yourselves with a phone out shopping for uni stuff at eg supermarket or Ikea.
[email protected] is my email - please share if you know someone

Using my Bank Holiday to catch up on reading instead of radio 📖 makes for a change!
A photo of a book in someone’s left hand with grass and sandalled foot in background. Book cover text reads: “Weird Sisters: Tales from the Queens of the Pulp Era, edited by Mike Ashley. British Library Tales of the Weird”

A medieval labyrinth from Rathmore, Meath.

In medieval Christian Europe, labyrinths were often symbols of pilgrimage.

Though the parish church at Rathmore may not be a site of pilgrimage itself, the stone may commemorate the journey of one of the Cruise family, who were key patrons of the church.
