What a great Pick of the Week from @scouttzofiya.bsky.social with cod-slam poetry, the word 'cistension', the sound of agoraphobia, Walt Whitman, Johnny Cash, an introduction to musique concrète and a closing snippet of strangeness from LINTD: www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m...

And let’s face it, it’s been a difficult week for us (read between the lines) but if there’s any week I’d suggest listening to PotW, to see the value and the merit of public service broadcasting - what gets me up in the morning - now’s the week to do it. And now I’ll jump off my overturned soap box

- a great cover
- a description of D&D guaranteed to entice 14 year olds

A medieval labyrinth from Rathmore, Meath.

In medieval Christian Europe, labyrinths were often symbols of pilgrimage.

Though the parish church at Rathmore may not be a site of pilgrimage itself, the stone may commemorate the journey of one of the Cruise family, who were key patrons of the church.
