Sorry but it looks silly to have Cena leave his sketchers in the ring as the retirement symbol. But that’s me nitpicking his ring gear. Dude deserves his flowers for the career and this retirement run.

And they won’t be cutting Cena’s time short the way Goldberg got cooked.

One last Cena match? One last time we see and hear Cena calling spots on camera!

Gunther would make such a good Jaws-type Bond villain. “Come now, Mr Bond. This is too easy.” And he biels 007 across the room through some furniture.

That segment was janky AF. It reminds me of just how much potential was wasted in the Ron Killings release/return saga. But Hendry getting face time on TV is good.

The idea of showcasing the NXT talent tonight has been a total winner. Evans and Slater both looking like a million bucks in there with top tier talent like AJ and Dragon Lee. WWE will poach Slater from the TNA roster at their very first opportunity.

Sol Ruca is another performer who has money written all over her. She’s so damn athletic and that finisher is Kairi Sane’s elbow drop levels of spectacular.

The flying European uppercut over the announcers table by Femi was SWEET.

Damn. McIntyre interferes but it causes a DQ. But this might now lead to an Oba/Drew match or two and that would be great.

Also, I love the way the entrance is set up tonight. It’s hard to do something different with that kind of thing but this is different and really good.

Glad the show is NOT starting with the Cena match. I’m hoping for big things for Oba Femi. The WWE has bungled or stifled too many Black stars over the years. Femi has HUGE money making potential if they get behind him fully.

I predict Drew McIntyre will interfere and Oba will beat Cody Rhodes.

When you make jokes like that, you make Doug Ford sad. That fat bastard is going to continue failing upwards until he’s Prime Minister.
