They’re getting people who hate WWE to talk about their show instead of anything else, and getting stans for their stars to debate who’s at fault for whatever. The new kayfabe is not getting fans to root for their favourites to win matches, it’s to root for them to overcome bad booking.

I’m not bothered by the amount of titles in a promotion, as long as there’s a clear hierarchy or a title has a specific purpose. International/National/Continental all feel too similar right now.

I think a lot about 80s JCP and the Valiant/Paul Jones feud. You watch it now and it’s so over the top absurd and silly at times, but everyone treats it like a serious life or death struggle, and it works. It’s all about the presentation of it.
