There was a lot of hype around this one when it came out, but I am here to tell you that it more than lives up to it. Tremendous book, and far stranger than I thought it would be going in. One of the few novels I'd recommend widely.

I empathize with the sentiment, but advocating for the independence of Greenland when the a demagogue in charge of the world's greatest power is threatening to seize Greenland by force is, well, stupid.

Everything I see about Nolan's take on the Odyssey infuriates me to no end. By the God of Olympus, does he just hate color? Like, we don't *NEED* bronze armor or historical accuracy but seriously...everything looks cold and soulless. May the gods accurse Nolan.
