New data on farms and inheritance tax: a third of farm estates over £1.5m aren’t farmers but wealthy people avoiding IHT by sinking money into farmland.

The Budget hits farmers too hard and tax avoiders too lightly. It needs to change.

James. Rew.

It won’t be. But it should be. Because performance in county cricket has to mean something.

Tbf, leasehold has its place - there are always (in flats) typically common areas which need the flatholders contributing to ensure up to standard, or you end up with the top floor flats not upkeeping and that impacting lower floors. It’s not the concept, it’s the practicalities.
This scandal is a lesson in why you should never buy leasehold if you can avoid it bit.ly/4fXdmYj Leaseholders are not homeowners! They only own the right to live in a few cubic metres of air for a finite time but must pay uncapped service charges every year

Well, this is a bit different isn’t it? Barely posted on the other place but still had to fight off dozens of bots, and here you get followed by real people with similar interests.

It’ll never catch on….!
