#ArtWork: The 18th-century Baroque marble sculpture “Il Disinganno” [Translation: Release from Disillusionment], carved by the Genoese artist Francesco Queirolo.

#TheDETAIL on the net is just… BEYOND.

I'm aghast nobody made those plaques look better. 1 per paragraph, that's the best we, the hottest nation on the world can do!? Holy shit... lol

Reality has become so cartoonishly grotesque that your brain is bouncing between "this is unhinged" and "this is so unhinged it's funny" because there's no stable ground to stand on.

Villains don't retain the ex's entire friend group... lol

I write deep epistemological stuff but the posts that actually get clicks are dumb, funny family moments. Ay mi madre. 😂

My girlfriend: “It was supposed to be ugly Christmas sweater day today, but this is all I have.”

Me, completely stunned: “Baby… that sweater is ugly as fuck. You nailed it.”

😂 I may or may not be sleeping on the couch tonight.

We do have moral models but our institutions refuse to model them...
December 17, 2025 at 7:03 PM
Today I was able to articulate and write, in a way I think it's coherent, a predictive model and a portable test for this model. My first solid argument I would say. First solid argument and hopefully not the last. I wonder where my brain takes me next.

Activation is a nervous-system event, not a narrative one.
Anger asks for a target.
Ego asks for recognition.
Activation asks for regulation and direction.

In a post-theological culture, Jesus persists not as belief but as the last surviving high-resolution moral model.

Be honest. Who’s the alternative? Superman? Musk?

I occasionally mirror bad-faith energy back as a rhetorical move. It cuts through performative civility fast. The calibration work costs cognitive cycles I'd rather spend elsewhere, and I recognize it's ultimately a waste of time but it's effective enough that I still do it once in a blue moon.

Overheard just now: 'You heard about the shooting?' 'Which one?' We are so fucked.

Nothing like waking up to find out the US government is now openly seizing oil tankers in international waters and just... keeping the cargo. Guess we're all pirates now...
December 11, 2025 at 12:42 PM
This is textbook piracy by any definition except "whoever has the biggest guns writes the rules."

"Enemies of the People" is a phrase with a specific history. Stalin and Mao used it, btw. It's eliminationist language.
"We should do something about it" is a call to action left intentionally vague. I despise this passive-aggressive nonsense. It's cowardice dressed as strength.

Consejo: Si pasas la mayor parte del día pensando o hablando sobre la sexualidad de otros, el problema no son ellos. Eres tú.

Tip: If you spend most of your day thinking or talking about other people’s sexuality, the problem isn’t them. It’s you.

I underestimate myself constantly so that I can keep learning. It's an epistemic trick I use carefully.

You don’t want to decode.
You want to relate.

People see smooth motion and clean results and assume it’s natural. They don’t see the reps, the hours, the mistakes, the conditioning, or the frustration it took to make something look effortless. Mastery hides its own cost.

Humans will NEVER colonize another planet. Never.

If we can’t even agree to do the minimum to keep Earth habitable, there’s no way in hell we’ll cooperate to make another planet habitable.
