I wish all the energy I spend avoiding mirrors in gym translated to calories burned. I'd be killing it with my workouts

THOSE BASTARDS MADE A CONSOLE!

I didn't get a SteamDeck for literally years waiting on a Steam console. Got one a year ago and of course now the announce this 🙃

I do not have the musical taste of a woman happily engaged to the healthiest relationship of her life. I have the musical taste a very hot woman in her late 20s disappointed with herself for letting herself get ghosted by her third fuckboy hook up this week.

I can't stand calendars that start on Sunday. Obviously our week ends on Sunday and starts on Monday. I'm no more a proponent of capitalism than I am of religion but one is clearly the system we're operating in. It's madness and I think it's only a States thing, which makes it even more irritating.

I told myself this was going to be the Taylor Swift album I would actually listen to and see if it was my thing. But then Hayley Williams came out with "the South will not rise again until it's paid for all its sins" and a song about what it's actually like to be an eldest daughter

I swear I'm going to be walking around naked before it's all over. Walk in store options are getting fewer and fewer (RIP Target, but also my style is pretty specific and rare in box stores) and it seems like no one online does returns any more so I'm can't risk buying clothes that way either

Possibly hot take but it fills me with incandescent rage when, on a podcast, the hosts are like "for those of you who are listening" because they're doing a visual bit. For those of us who are listening? To a podcast? An audio medium?!!!!

Can someone tell me what the fuck my taxes are even paying for any more? Because best I can tell, it's not any of the things Congress has allocated them to other than war.

The president says kids may have to live with two dolls instead of thirty?

US store shelves about to look like how Conservatives, with their fearmongering and Capitalist capitulation, described all those nasty Communist countries to me growing up.

I get compliments on my voice way more often than I think makes sense. Do people get compliments on their voice often?

Occasionally I wonder if people are going to be right and one day I'll regret not having children. In those moments I think to myself, "have a kid, the thing JD Vance wants me to do?" and set myself straight again

It sucks that the reward for finishing my work day is cleaning my house. Or on special days cooking and then cleaning my house.

I've been considering dropping TED Radio Hour from my podcast rotation. I'm tired of every episode being AI proganda. No one wants the robots making music or keeping my dead loved ones "alive" in the cloud. Talk to me about humanity again, please

I know reams of words have been written about the current state of concert/entertainment ticketing. But man, I always forget how infuriating it all is until I want to buy a ticket for something. I'm looking at $40 and $50 per ticket in services fees. Wtf

It just really sucks that as an American, there's no way I can ever show my face anywhere else in the world again. I really liked traveling.

Black Lives Matter fundamentally broke these people’s brains. They couldn’t bear the idea that they might have to tell a different story about this country and thus tell a different story about themselves. They hated it, and now they are using everything they have to never feel that way again.

Gotta say, “DEI made a plane crash” was not on my 2025 bingo card.

Hot take: Podcasts have lost the plot. There is so much visual content. I'm sick of hearing, as an afterthought, "oh and for our audio listeners..." You mean the people the medium was intended for??? I've been listening to twenty minutes of these hosts open presents I can't see. GTFO 🙄

I sure wish there was a navigation app that wasn't secretly owned by Google (Waze) or would drive me off a cliff into a lake (Apple Maps) but also had the correct name for the Gulf of Mexico

Wild to see all the people who can't keep plans we've made talking about cabin fever and being stir crazy after just two snow days

Is there a better feeling that your cat waking up from a nap, looking around, seeing you, getting up come over to you, and immediately falling back asleep in your lap? 😭

"But all these states enshrined abortions rights"

But didn't swing blue meaning in true Conservative fashion they looked out for themselves and no one else.

Not the first person to say, probably not even the first to say it in these exact words, but Kamala Harris showing off the Republicans that support her isn't the flex she thinks it is.

The news articles that have the name of the baker who got eliminated this week on #GBBO in the freakin' HEADLINE on Tuesday and Wednesday (or frankly at all) should be sent to jail. I know it aired in the UK already but Netflix doesn't get until Friday and some of us are busy people anyway
