The one part I don't like about running game directly after work. I don't get to see my cats until I get home.

So, my video game hill to die on is that Final Fantasy VI is much better than Final Fantasy VII.

At first it looks like a typical "fight the evil empire" plot but the twist is that the real villain is a giggling dolt who causes an apocalypse by jamming a bunch of buttons for kicks.

I have been informed I should probably use thicker lines when I share art I draw. But first, the hyper fixation has swapped to model making!

Sometimes you spend all morning trying to make serious military elf man. And it comes out okay. And other times you crank out girl alligator (with bow and painted on eye lashes) eating a human arm and it takes you 20 minutes! What even is art?

Started playing our Iron Kingdoms campaign today, our first home game in almost 5 years. It's so nice to be gaming in person again.

Had another great Fabula Ultima session. Honestly, my one concern at this point is the sideways thinking my players are doing to circumvent combat encounters. But honestly, that's any TTRPG with a table that doesn't unalive things indiscriminately.

Art practice from today. Maybe nit better, bit it was faster.

Started drawing last month, and I think it's going okay. My overly tired Wizard, Acerin Thae.

So I started running Fabula Ultima a few weeks back. Really gets the vibe of JRPGs down. Has great interaction and the ability for players to influence the world. Combat is snappy and almost puzzle like. Multiple sub-systems that are optional, and can dramatically change the playstyle of games.

Meant to post this a few weeks ago, but we finally wrapped on a 3 ½ year Exalted 3rd edition campaign. At some point I'll get my thoughts on the system out there, but oh boy was that an experience.

Found out today my coworker, doesn't believe in the dictionary. WHAT?! How?

I have been blessed with this lads tum-tum. He's been chilling with me while I help write my first Fabula Ultima game.
