Should clarify I was referring to an Amazon Fresh location. Haven’t been to an Amazon Go (yes, unpleasant) since pre-COVID in San Francisco and those all closed long ago. Didn’t know they still exist.

I just finally visited one while in LA last week.
I thought they were unstaffed so was surprised to see staff there. Mostly just seemed like my normal Safeway with some people pushing around carts with screens.
Had a human check me out so didn’t notice any staffing issues.

Watched the pilot last night. There’s a scene with a countdown to unclamping from the space station.
The count is so slow that either time has slowed down in a thousand years or the Federation has adopted a time unit different than the “second.”

I did and I liked it. But I’ve been surprised that everybody I know (real life) who also saw it this weekend didn’t like it. Though they all liked the music video.
