things I have learned today:
1. openwrt's uhttpd sucks
2. UCI sucks as a config language. it's not a bad idea, it reminds me of nix. but the second you want to do anything more complex than setting an option it falls apart.
3. nixOS would probably make a great router OS

I used to be in the "support older browsers" camp but these days I'm solidly in the "why the fuck did we support IE for so long" category. the web is constantly evolving and getting cool features that make everything nicer and I will absolutely be using them
