weird reply considering I said none of those things and simply made an obviously true observation that dems have a history of offering half measures to their base not as a prelude to more radical action but instead as a way to mollify angry activists and then move on.

it's true in an abstract sense that calls for better ICE training or modest reform could be a prelude to more radical action, just like, eg, a blue ribbon bipartisan commission on SCOTUS reform could be a prelude to a robust and partisan court reform agenda. BUT

I agree. I think if you want to use training as a rhetorical device to destroy ICE as an agency, then you need to start hammering on the fact that Ross was a trainer, and focus on how ICE is **Incapable of training** its officers.

ICE totaled this car, abducted a woman, and then left it in the middle of Snelling Avenue, one of the busiest streets in the Twin Cities.
