Anyone who thinks cats don't miss their humans needs to see The Ritual my tiny cat performs when I get home. It involves fussing/squeaking until I sit down and allow her to get in my lap and I pat her little head. She may only stay there for 5 min, but she has to have lap time, as a priority.

There are two types of covers for mid-century classical LPs. There's the boring, safe "slap some old master painting on it & some titles in a basic serif font" and then there's the more fun "I've been to art school and I like Shapes and Getting Weird With Them"

First computer I ever *used* was something like a Mac SE, at school. Little all-in-one thing that looked like the happy computer icon. Drew some pictures on it with Turtle and played Frogger a bunch, which kind of stressed me out, but was the only game available.

This creature lives in a big public park. I've walked by hundreds of times over 25 years or more, but I never noticed it before. Or maybe it wasn't always so...creaturely. But this looks like decades' growth. I stood next to it for a long time, feeling like there must a way in & away from this world
