If they are going to do this to Liverpool St (great, it's a depressing station) then pleaseeeeee can they just do similar to Euston.

Instead of tinkering around the edges.

I don't teach them any acronyms (in English) and yet every mock exam a few will scribble them in margins.

And yet I never find anyone else (from from partner) who actually watches it!

The amount of times I have told various people "I am a teacher so please email/leave a message" and then just get missed calls, no further info.

It manages to combine "poor teachers with their hugh tax" with an undercurrent of "can't believe these teachers are getting paid so much"

Having lived in rented accommodation for 15 years, know literally nothing about getting bathrooms and kitchens except that you should never go to Wickes.

I bang on about Call the Midwife for various reasons but from my POV (someone without direct experience) it has done a great job of depicting Reggie, a young man with downs syndrome.

And also exploring how his family have got learnt to see him as an adult.

Got this through the door today. No one will be surprised to learn that the founder is a divorced man.

I think (maybe misremembering) it's in Julian Barnes' The sense of an ending that there are multiple scenes with people w disabilities going to a pub and one of the other characters is basically surprised that disabled ppl might want an actual alcoholoc drink.

The closest I have got is a particular language teacher (at uni) who would interrupt you as soon as you made an error - i was learning a lang from scratch, I made loads of errors.

I hated her lessons and I hated her.

I try to remember this when teaching students who really struggle with my subject. On the one hand, I need to correct their misconceptions and mistakes but on the other being "bad" at something you have to do must be pretty depressing.
