so 1. how can someone disabled like me actually get involved locally? and 2. if it's this hard for someone disabled like me to get involved locally (and i'm not saying it is for all, just that it has been for me), then is this lack of accessibility excluding disabled ppl from local involvement?

(two genuine questions.) i'm immunosuppressed, so it's hard for me to get involved locally if indoor meetings aren't masked, cc, etc., and a lot of them aren't, which sucks & makes it hard to find out about outdoor events that aren't protests (which have more respiratory risks for me)

i remember we (plus some others) had a convo on twitter years ago about the rights of the dead to be dead. one of the movies that i brought up was The Spirits Within. a lot of contemporary editorial reactions worried about its cgi actors replacing real actors; no one was worried about ai necromancy.
