Headcanon about Miracle on 34th Street: the Santa in the movie is the real Santa... an old, retired one. His son, the next Santa, placed him into elder care in New York City because the North Pole didn't have up-to-date facilities. But he's losing his memory.

I was so looking forward to my first Christmas in Sweden (which is celebrated today, on the 24th the way people celebrate New Years on the ever before) but I came down with a really bad flu or maybe even Covid, so now I'm just chilling at home haha

An author I like, Sophie Kinsella, has passed away. The true joy of her books, for me, were that they were a safe space to be unashamadly girly, to like fashion and makeovers and shopping. And that none of this prevents someone from being a good, kind person, with responsibilities and determination.
