I found a mushroom magic wand while on my wander today.
The sun is out so I feel like a child stopping at every mushroom and randomly calling out, “freeze!” So I can capture my husband in the perfect stream of sunlight.

My neighbors would like to wish everyone a very happy December 26th complete with fireworks. My dogs have joined in the celebration and I might have lost all hearing for the next week.

Christmas Eve wonder wander was spectacular. Warm winter sunlight streaming through the trees, blue skies, my wonderful husband and my sweet pups.

Took three days off from wandering due to a colonoscopy. I am so glad that is over. I needed my walk today. Didn’t see a single other person so the pups got to run free the entire time while it rained just hard enough to make that beautiful sound of water falling on leaves. Magic.

I think I love my dogs best when we are walking through the woods. They are so conscientious and sweet- never going too far away, always checking to see where I am. But they are still goofy. Always goofy
