If they aren’t going to camp out in the damn congress to demand this entire foolishness stops, I don’t wanna hear shit from them. Trump repeatedly showcases he doesn’t care about laws and democrats are fine with placing marginalized people on a chopping block of fear so they can get re elected.

No one with the ability to call out crappy music is surprised that Taylor Swifts album is the diary of a 12 year “coded” mean girl. She’s never been a good writer. It needs to be studied why people will look at her works and think otherwise.

The inhumanity is accelerating.

There are multiple reports of ICE agents laughing as kids scream and cry, and one in this raid saying literally “fuck them kids.”
My god.

“Watson said she saw agents dragging residents, including kids, out of the building without any clothes on and into U-Haul vans. Kids were separated from their mothers…’It was heartbreaking to watch…seeing kids coming out buck naked and taken from their mothers, it was horrible.’”
Massive immigration raid on Chicago apartment building leaves residents reeling: 'I feel defeated'

The @nytimes.com mapped donations from every neighborhood across the city in the mayor’s race — what they found was astonishing.

Not only do we have the most individual donors in the race, they come from neighborhoods across each of the five boroughs.

This movement is citywide.

Or going to local community board meetings. A lot of the depression people are feeling could be summed up to, imo, the refusal or willingness to active participants in politics not just passive bystanders… Just waiting for that people to die is a cop out like GenZ isn’t hella conservative

They're called public records for a reason. Starting today, WIRED will *stop paywalling* articles that are primarily based on public records obtained through the Freedom of Information Act, becoming the first publication to partner with @freedom.press to offer this for our new coverage.
Wired is dropping paywalls for FOIA-based reporting. Others should follow
As the administration does its best to hide public records from the public, Wired magazine is stepping up to help stem the secrecy

3. Gillibrand is right—Republicans plan on making it very, very painful for Democrats if there is a shutdown, and Gillibrand is now overseeing the DSCC, which means she’s responsible for all the Senate Democratic candidates running in this cycle.
