ICE agents shooting & then standing over Alex Pretti as he bleeds out is the same as IDF soldiers shooting & then standing over 14-year-old Jadallah Jadallah as he bleeds out.

We are here because two, 2024 Dem presidential candidates preferred this harrowing parallel to an arms embargo on Israel.

Over at @literaryhub.bsky.social today, I have an excerpt from my book BALLOT about the failures of courts to protect multiracial voting blocks under Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act both in Galveston County, Texas, and in my own congressional district in Georgia.
How Gerrymandering Helps Republicans Maintain Power in Texas and Georgia
Galveston County, Texas, population 350,000, sits on the southeast end of the state along the Gulf of Mexico. The county, made up of 55 percent white, 25 percent Hispanic, and 13 percent non-Hispan…

Donald Trump won this district in Louisiana by 13 points in 2024.

The Democrat just crushed a Republican extremist in this district by 24 points.

Folks, that’s a 37 point swing to the left. We can compete everywhere and win anywhere. Let’s keep this up!

ICE has grabbed so many people from their vehicles that there are abandoned cars across Minnesota.

This tow truck driver returns the cars for free as a public service, and he’s been getting death threats.

They hate the helpers.

Which is why must keep helping.
Twin Cities tow truck driver returns abandoned vehicles to families after ICE arrests
Juan Leon sends a "chase" car to check out where abandoned vehicles are located and arranges discreet drop-offs. Since late December, he estimated they have dropped off 250 cars.

I was just denied entry to the Dilley detention facility while my constituent, seven-year-old Diana, remains inside.

What kind of sick, horrific conditions are children being forced to endure in there?

I will be back tomorrow. Accountability can’t wait.

I’m just going to start using the terms Democratic Fascists and Republican Fascists. They are much more accurate terms.
Democrats want commonsense reform for ICE:

End the roving patrols and racial profiling.

Take accountability and abide by the same rules as local police.

Masks need to come off, body cameras need to stay on—no secret police in the United States of America.

This is the kind of leadership we need.
Abolish ICE.

There’s no reforming it.

There’s no compromise.

There’s only one way to rein in ICE’s terror campaign. Abolish it.
