I'm knitting 🧶 a #legacyofkain themed Christmas jumper to raise money for @cancerresearchuk.org

I'll try to do regular updates to this post. Please donate if you can: fundraise.cancerresearchuk.org/page/josephs...

Hello. I’m going to be knitting a festive jumper in December to help raise money for Cancer Research UK. It's going to a jumper of my own design, so it will be quite a challenge. Please show your su...

I could swear in #GameOfWool that when Holger demonstrated his trunks that there was an instrumental of "Starbucks" by A playing in the background

What a strange intersection of my particular niche interests

Watching the Naked Gun

It's funny, but having characters look at each other to say "what the hell?" kind of goes against what makes the originals so hilarious - the illusion that everyone is taking the absurdity seriously

My brief, no spoilery thoughts about "The Dead Shall Rise" - the #LegacyOfKain prequel graphic novel:

Japan's "Mundane Halloween" costume contest is back!

Each year website DailyPortalZ holds a contest where people dress up as something super duper ordinary.

Here's a thread of some of my favorites from the 2025 contest!

Halloween is over, so I've started watching Warrior Nun, for some reason.

I remember seeing the comic covers in the 90s, but I was reading Crimson and couldn't afford both.

Hope it's good.

Pertwee #DoctorWho episodes are a strange tonal balance.

The Master seems vicious, but he killed one of his victims with an inflatable chair, so it's also hilarious

Can't believe there hasn't been a point in any of the Mission Impossible films where a character hasn't had to clarify that they in fact aren't an accountant

Weird that I'm starting to have to block the owners of this platform for my own sanity

Mastadon was a bit slow and boring, but that may be the price we have to pay to not deal with idiots all the time

#BluePrince is frustrating.
I can open the antechamber for to room 46, but can't get *into* the antechamber itself.

This is giving me tangential flashbacks to House of Leaves.

I've got no extra insight other than I wouldn't want to exist in that world
The AI authorship issue is real. We've caught papers that looked OK but had references to works by the *journal editors* that *do not exist*. Like, don't send us papers citing papers we know we didn't write, right?

I like the freaky Friday body swap element, because though it's a bit of a trope, it allows the actors to demonstrate range by portraying a different personality in the same show

I watched "One Piece: Red" on Netflix and realised that "The Interstellar Song Contest" #DrWho episode basically rips off the same plot

Managed to drag myself away from God of War: Ragnarok for long enough to get some work done on this WIP
