A suspect is reportedly in custody. We do not know yet what happened, who did this, or why, but we do know that regardless of the truth, Trump will once again exploit a tragedy, not to end gun violence or bring the nation together, but to justify throwing our neighbors into concentration camps

This is why we're supposed to react to the very first line of "first they came for" instead of pretending we didn't know where that was obviously going to lead

I wish I could remember who said it, but I recently heard the phrase, “They’re encouraging a culture war so that nobody notices the class war.”

The entire culture war, is an intended distraction from authoritarianism, grift and abuse of power.

And, arguably, the authoritarianism is intended to allow them to continue abusing their power under authority of law.

But, as above, “wokeism”, right?
