The Hull protest is apparently about grooming gangs, not sure how antifa or ICE fit into that picture

Makes about as much sense as inviting a domestic abuser to speak at such an event. He couldn't even stop posting about antifa when his kid was missing so not exactly a beacon of child protection.

Another curious point to note is the influence the Homeland Party has had on this recent wave of protests. A new Facebook group known as "Epping Says No" was recently set up and appears to be primarily run by Homeland Party members.

Also at both protests was Julian Leppert and Sue Clapp, both were BNP councillors in Epping and had an impact far right agitation in the area. Both also joined the short-lived For Britain Movement and Julian is now a member of the British Democrats

The protests have brought a mixture of football hooligans and older far right heads.
Among those present Lance Wright, a Blood and Honour nazi from Harold Hill. He was often involved in attacks against antifascists and a regular presence at Honor Oak

Two protests in Epping in the past 7 days.
Sunday saw attacks against SUTR, a potential attack against an asylum seeker and a far right agitator climbing a hotel hosting migrants

Today has seen multiple attacks against antifascists and the use of riot police while a stand off is currently ongoing

One cannot oppose the far right effectively while ignoring or enabling transphobia, sexual violence or misogyny.

We need to do better than those we seek to oppose and we cannot do that while being hypocrites. For example one cannot oppose Andrew Tate while ignoring the literal rapist in their group

It appears from the protest footage we are seeing that White Vanguard appears to be a successor organization to Youth Alliance as many former YA members appeared in attendance.
