Instead of writing articles about what anti-fascist means, maybe FT should write about what kind of people would designate anti-fascists as their enemies.

There's a word for such people, right? What could it be?Something starting with "fa"?

a high armhole allows for freer and more comfortable movement
Joey Mannarino in a dark brown tailored jacket. The low armhole is causing his jacket to lift. Someone in an inflatable frog costume. The high armhole allows them to raise their arm without disturbing the rest of the garment

Dems should think long and hard why GOP think they will rush to take responsibility for and clean up any MAGA mess.

Maybe it's because I'm a parent, but avoidable harm to kids really gets to me. My kids can be difficult when they don't get an afternoon snack at the usual time. I'm sure various parents and teachers can say the same. Watching a kid starve to death? And the US govt did it on purpose?
Unconscionable.

The elimination of USAID is a moral atrocity and all involved made a choice to enable, and then lie about, ending the lives of some of the most vulnerable people in the world.
MAE SOT, Thailand (AP) - Mohammed Taher clutched the lifeless body of his 2-year-old son and wept. Ever since his family's food rations stopped arriving at their internment camp in Myanmar in April, the father had watched helplessly as his once-vibrant baby boy weakened, suffering from diarrhea and begging for food.
On May 21, exactly two weeks after Taher's little boy died, U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio sat before Congress and declared: "No one has died" because of his government's decision to gut its foreign aid program. Rubio also insisted: "No children are dying on my watch."
That, Taher says, "is a lie."

you may remember that in 2016 the media was very concerned with proper security standards

FBI agents assigned to Musk concluded he was systematically avoiding conduct standards imposed on those holding high-level clearances. FBI management concluded it could do nothing about this because of Musk's ties to Trump and the GOP.

Pritzker: "He wants to militarize major cities because he wants us to get used to the idea of troops on the streets. I believe he's gonna post people outside of polling places and if he needs to in order to control those elections, he'll assume control of the ballot boxes & count the votes himself"

Gonna say it, not enough games about defeating Klansmen, Confederates or neo-Confederates.

SCOOP: Last year, Ubisoft cancelled an Assassin's Creed game set during Reconstruction. Was to feature a Black Assassin who, among other things, fought the rise of the Klan

Sources: Leadership nixed it over concerns re: U.S. political climate, backlash to Yasuke

Quite baffling that so many still won't face how this is a bubble whose post-burst shakeout would take down unsustainable firms and reward ones that focus on cost discipline and energy efficiency in ways that might be good for AI development
chrononaut.bsky.social
The regime's problem with the current AI obsession of Silicon Valley is that if it actually pays off, the economic damage might be worse than if it fails.

Either the AI bubble pops and many individuals and companies lose their investment, or it pays off and millions lose their jobs.

American "libertarianism" is also a 100% elitist ideology.

They just can't get over the fact that a plebeian's vote weighs as much as that of a billionaire, and that a plebeian is supposed to have the same rights and protections as a billionaire.

The idea of equality drives them insane.

Wait, isn't this an indication that she has dirt on GOP/MAGA people?

If she had anything on Dems she'd release it immediately.

The far right is the lowest common denominator. It's easy to descend to it.

Being truly far left (rather than a tankie, which is basically a Nazi with a hammer and sickle instead of a swastika) puts you in a very small majority of idealists and ... well ... dupes.
