Narvik Polar Park. The polar park was quite nice, actually. The animals really had a lot of space to roam. Some of them were quite curious about us so kept coming up to the fence.

Okay, I admit it. I was wrong about Heated Rivalry. Yes, it's about hockey (which sorry ugh) and the naked scenes are a bit over my level of comfort, but the emotions are great and I love all the hints of road blocks for both the main characters. So yeah, on this series. #heatedrivalry

Longyearbyen. They have an extensive coal mining operation. Normally I'd say that they should seek alternate means but it's actually cheaper and more environmentally sound to keep using coal rather than importing in oil. But they said they are stopping production so we'll see how it goes.

Longyearbyen, Svalbard, Norway. The dogs loved to run. It was hard for the owner to keep them cool and hydrated because they just wanted to keep going.

Seljalandsfoss and other waterfalls in Iceland. I thought I was far enough away from the waterfall when I got a little closer and the wind shifted and it hit me full force. I was thoroughly soaked.

A reminder - last March, republicans promised to restore $1.1B in funding to DC in exchange for funding the government, and Mike Johnson never took it up in the House.

Get your butts out and vote tomorrow. I set up equipment tonight after a long work day and I am getting up tomorrow @ 4:30 am to serve at a local polling place @5:30 so you can take a few minutes to run out and vote. My day tomorrow will be about 16 hours long and then I go back to work Wednesday.
