++"The bottleneck is the willingness to do harm" is the hard truth people don't want to tackle because they'd have to acknowledge that the Big Money would fuck up everyone and the models are just a nice pretext to misdirect the crowd's wrath

++inevitable for uninvolved people to not associate the harm caused by the proliferation of the tech with the tech itself instead of looking at the root causes of the harm done. nobody wants to ask the hard questions of who's actually to blame when the tech is an easy culprit.++

all artificial intelligence does is magnify one's ability to do things, and consequently, it magnifies the ability of bad actors to do harm via misinformation and infringement on human dignity, but neural network proliferation happening right after the blоckchain craze has made it++

Or maybe something in the vein of "Researcher Y removes the information they are personally uncomfortable with in a project they're responsible for and this leads to another disaster due to a lacuna in data"

I think it shouldn't be explicitly pataphysical and end in victory of the censorship side, but "Researcher logs experiments, is pressured by peers to not log certain parts over personal discomfort, the whole situation spirals out of control and requires cleanup" would get the point across

AC I think there's only one solution to that and you won't like it

so basically we’re going to have to figure out how to go back to building systems of knowledge based almost entirely on confirming sources - like you needed to do pre-photograph and video - since all true videos will seem fake and fake videos will seem true

you should become less sick before that

It was painful to do but it shouldn't be a difficult decision. Either an organization has integrity or it was only ever a trap ready to spring shut on people.
