We did something different with the credits for Demonschool. We used this format: name, title, lengthy description of what they did. Often you see credits in games where you don't know what the credited developer was actually responsible for. We wanted to give people proper, actual credit.

Spoke to my source familiar with internal workings at Mastercard. The holiday call campaign re payment processor censorship is working, there is a lot of pressure being felt from your calls. This is resulting in increased response times at a core moment for Mastercard due to the holiday season

Obviously the idea is to let people "just change variables" to style their game, but as soon as you want to do anything other than the default template everything's behavior is totally disjointed and difficult to trace.

Ren'py is fantastic except for the baffling design decision to spread each UI component's style information across three different languages that completely overlap in functionality, and then put each chunk in a different file

I'm so nervous about accidentally putting pressure on people but then you read the actual logs and they're always like "if you are uncomfortable I will stay the same no matter what, you are an object to me"

it depends on the fae. seelie fae are open source under the Apache license. unseelie fae are reputed to be open source, and sometimes people say the license looks like modified AGPLv4, but no two people remember the exact same license text and everyone remembers at least one anomalous clause
I can't put my finger in exactly why but "are the fae open source" is just a nightmare of a sentence
