So to understand, these aren’t a site specific history, but just a general “everything you’ve generated” list?

Also neurodivergent so I’m not 100% sure but I do know people give massive holiday tips though that might be spread around team. if you want to hand something over JUST for them, maybe call it a “holiday card” so it doesn’t get awkward/stolen/etc? I have had some workplaces very awkward re gifts.

Mind you, a lot of that was character exploration, now ditched drafts, etc. I keep old drafts in separate files so we can track evolution of concepts in case I need to remember why something changed.

Anxiety over current events is one heck of a motivator. Damn…

Your brain lacks dopamine but that means you are highly easy to motivate once you find the tricks that work. Associate unpleasant tasks with fun rewards. Use external obligations to hold to deadlines. Don’t hold what you think “normal routine” should look like as a measure of success.

Everyone has something they can do, even if that is just continuing to exist despite the chaos going on. Tell your conscience that the FOMO can take a hike for a bit. 😉

Yes, seeing everyone afterwards talking about how heartwarming it was or about making history may hurt. But you can find that sense of community and making a difference elsewhere or on another day.

Mute the topic for a while if it helps to keep unwarranted guilt away.

Have work? Valid.
Have to care for others? Valid.
Other obligations? Valid.
Some sort of health situation, physical, emotional, or mental? Valid.
Just too damn tired from everything going on? You take a much needed break.

You don’t have to participate in #NoKings to somehow “count.”

Oh don’t tell me that. I use it too much reflexively. 😳
