I suppose with all the new people I may as well start posting here as well.
Looked into the Anemoi trial to see if I could rip the BGM tracks and.... it seems like Siglus has some new audio format. The BGM are all stored in these .owp files which as far as I know is a completely new format that no prior Siglus title has used.

Clannad's name changing feature has always been an interesting one. With special easter eggs and exclusive lines that trigger if your name is a specific value. However a little known detail is that if you try and name yourself after a character the game will actually warn you.

I can confirm that the reprint of AIR's Switch release with English on the cart is now in circulation to some extent. I personally got this copy of of Neowing.

With AIR's release on the NoA eShop today I felt the need to check to see if this build was heavily edited similar to Kanon. From what I can tell no additional edits were made for this releases however the edits already present in the Steam release seem to carry over.

I am very happy with the first step Key has been put into fixing up SPRB's Steam release. As I've stated before one of my biggest gripes with Luca was the bland UI and lack of shortcuts. For the first time ever a Luca port has fixed that! Please standardized this and backport!

We now have the game data for 5 of those old Android builds! The apk application file itself is lost but all the game data has been found.

I've just now noticed but it sadly appears that the Kanon Light Novels have now been delisted from the Play Store. Sadly this also makes overall usage more annoying since the apps do a license check every boot. This means you can now only load the apps by going into Airplane mode

As of today with Nintendo's updated Switch 2 Backwards Compatibility chart that the issues with Summer Pockets have now been resolved! This means everything from Key is now fully playable.

I don't get to speak about my own personal collection much but today I've hit a rather huge goal! With some obvious exceptions I now have completed my collection of every physical Key visual novel release!

So I've compiled a list of what I think are currently all of the Key game builds I have not been able to archive. The only thing I've excluded are console download editions as those are always identical to the physical releases.

Key's latest music drop on streaming services had a big surprise for many. For the first time ever KSLA-0051 which was a Little Busters! vinyl has been digitized and can be heard by the masses.

Another thing I struggle with as a collector is actually telling what is official and what isn't. Like I probably have 15+ different LB manga/LN series and I have no idea which are official and which are doujin. I genuinely don't know a good way to tell. Anyone else know how to?

You know the worst situation I've put myself in is as an archivist my goal is to gather rare media, document it, and make sure it isn't lost forever. But also as a developer I have to have a very strong moral standing when it comes to things like piracy.

And that eventually is now! I have now gone through the scripts and made a diff report. I however cannot confirm if some lines were left in the game just unused. Can confirm that this is the case for at least one scene. But a brief summary of the removed lines can be found below
I can also confirm that a total of 6 different CGs were removed from the game. It appears the concept of characters kissing was too much for one of the ratings boards. But I'm certain the biggest changes are in the script itself which I hope to go through in detail eventually.

Well I've done some digging into today's Kanon release and well... it's not good.
Kanon's English translation first released on Steam last year. It was later released for the Japanese Switch version a bit later. Today it was finally released outside of Japan on the Switch.

It's not too well known but the PS3 and Xbox 360 releases of Clannad actually allow you to purchase the Clannad Side Stories as DLC. These have to be unlocked in-game via completing certain routes before they can be purchased.

Nothing feels better than getting that sudden surge of motivation. That sudden feeling that you can do anything is one of the best feelings out there.

I really feel bad for devs at VA who had to deal with the official Reallive documentation. It constantly gives false information, broken examples, contradicting statements, etc. I have the version provided with RLMax but it appears it was just a slightly modified version of it.
