In addition. It appears the LucaSystem port of Clannad removes this check entirely. Changing your name in those releases actually forcefully disables all voice acting in the game. This feels rather backwards though as having the same name would be more confusing without voices.

This check is actually rather detailed and even has checks for all named characters in the game. Even those names of side characters said in 1 line have a check.

I mean lets be honest. This is rather tame when it comes to Nukige titles.

I bought an IOS device just to rip Key's games. Sadly Stella of The End just refuses to launch on the device even though it is on a supported OS. The 360 and PS3 versions of Clannad SS I am still actively working on. The rest are pure luck or just asking around sadly.

Really the only exceptions are some very rare trials and of course Planetarian English Edition. But in my mind I consider my goal when it comes to their visual novels officially complete!

The environment was definitely 3D. But the characters appear to just be layered over it after.

The only ones I can really get myself are most the IOS releases and the PS3/Xbox 360 versions of Clannad SS. The rest are basically just hoping someone has a copy and is willing to dump it for archival. Hate to say this as a dev but if anyone has any of these please lmk.
