I actually think it's extremely difficult to qualify whether certain activist actions "hurt the cause" or whatever; really my objection to the way some acquaintances of mine reacted following 10/7 is that it revealed a careless appetite for violence that made me never really wanna get closer to them

Churches are nonprofits. They're not getting a special tax break for being churches. There is a unique church status that lowers their filing burden, but they wouldn't need to pay taxes either way.
So apparently the mega churches in Texas put on some insane Christmas shows and that’s cool but can we at least get them to pay some taxes for crying out loud….who needs these monstrosities
