This would be terrible. The main reason Broadway Plan won’t be a second Metrotown demoviction apocalypse is because of these tenant protections.
They aren’t perfect, no. But they are a great improvement from our bad history of displacement. Removing them would be a terrible mistake.

Rumours are flying that some on city council will try to eliminate the Broadway Plan’s enhanced tenant protections (TRPP) on December 11th. This goes far further than the planned updates by city staff, & has made many in the development industry uncomfortable. #VanRe #Vancouver

First impressions, I’m very pleasantly surprised at how well rounded this app is. Joining a wee bit later seems to have been a good call
