she does the things you do,
but she is an IBM.”

A peek under the hood of the Intel 80188 microprocessor. The design team even found room to print the number!

i found this yesterday.
it’s the fossilized remains of the “snow” we used to see when we tuned our TVs to an empty channel.

my eBike charger was hot to the touch during use. i cut a hole in the case and installed a heat sink. now the case is slightly warm and the heat sink dissipates most of the high temps.
i wonder why they designed these to burn themselves up? a small internal fan wouldn’t break the bank!

So…
I pull into the Schaumburg hotel parking lot, grab my luggage and go inside. The lobby is crowded with happy, loud people attending a wedding reception. I get my key, go to my room, relax a bit, go back to the lobby dining room for supper, watch the bride mingle with friends, fun times.

she bumps the door open and plops down on the floor at my feet, purring.
is this normal?

The concept is sound, the parts are reliable, but the assembly is poorly engineered at a savings to the company of a fraction of a dollar and that is why that $8 light bulb that was supposed to last 16 years just quit working after one year.

and you didn’t save the receipt or the package, right?

the woman in front of me at the farmer’s market.

i showed the judge this photo and five similar photos from the city center.
