It’s interesting to see the Paradox of Tolerance play out, and this isn’t going to go well for them.

I gave them every opportunity to back down, but they chose to be belligerent instead. Not my problem, and perhaps they shouldn’t have been hurrying towards the school with a rifle. 🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️

In this case, my neighbor is entering the Find Out stage as the Game Warden is not a fan of them shooting animals on my small, in-town property that is quite literally next door to the high school.

That they’d put their intent to keep doing it in writing after being told to stop is astounding.

Quite like this one, and the use of increasingly distorted versions of CSN's Helplessly Hoping was lovely. The subtle waver in the water glass at the end was fun, and calls more things into question. It's a favorite and revisited fairly often.

Is it related to the 2001 film of the same name, with Steve Martin?

Oh my! Thanks for the heads up! I guess plans are moving up and I'll be replacing the bathroom vanity this weekend... 🫤

Certified raw material cost extra, so certified material is generally not done unless required. Trying to trace back through uncertified material to figure out origin is pretty much impossible due to lack of documentation, so yeah, that letter is unsurprising.

Didn't get through this one. Too much of a mashup, as you noted, and boring as a result.

Ah. I'm told we did in fact make it through the entire thing. I have no memory of that, But do recall waking up to a very bad, confusing movie that inexplicably had vampires in it. Must have been this one.

Is that what it was?

We lasted all of 10 minutes with this one. Hated the style, hated the acting, no idea what the plot was supposed to be. Zero stars from me.

We as a Country lost the plot long ago. I blame reality tv.

Fast running zombies just don't do it for me.

IIRC the script called out the character's weight but not height, and Bale made it work in spite of being much taller than intended. Fantastic movie.

Also, I did not expect self-aligning bearings in the chipper. It's better designed than I expected. I also found where the mystery sheared bolts came from. 🤣😳🤣
