Truth: One of my favorite things in the world is getting on a zoom call and every person on the call is wearing glasses. Having that initial commonality of seeing like shit really sets the group off on the right foot.

The Pita Inn Market in Skokie sells the best dried apricots I've ever had. Unlike other ones that your teeth have to work on, these are still soft and fleshy, delicate and sweet. I'll grab a few from the cabinet as a snack and head back to my desk. They're gone before I sit down.
