Friends actors in animated form.

(Matt LeBlanc currently doesn’t have any animated credits)

There are a few that come to mind, but I will say despite their quality, these two have some really nice scores by John Debney and David Newman respectively.

Ok, it’s admittedly nowhere near as bad as I was expecting, he didn’t say she should really be executed rather than just removed from office or anything, but still disrespectful as usual.

(Ryan/StarGiant talking about Brave): “There’s jokes about asses in this like it’s a DreamWorks film.”

Because Pixar’s certainly NEVER had any low brow humour in their movies before this, right?

I recently made the mistake of watching some of StarGiantProductions’ (Ryan’s) older videos and I heard his takes on Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio and the 1940 Disney movie…

I am too. Ryan’s actions there put him on the same level as that creepy fan, Me Mania from Perfect Blue.

I almost forgot that today marks the 85th birthday of my favourite director of all time and one of the greatest animation auteurs in history.
Amazing to think he’s still going strong to this day.

I haven’t done one of these before but I thought I’d look at my Letterboxd year in review.

1: (Go ahead, call me a Disney shill, dicklicker whatever, this is my number one and no-one can convince me otherwise)
January 1, 2026 at 11:20 AM
2: (This being a reboot of a classic comedy franchise seriously should not have been as good as it was given their usually bad track record.)
January 1, 2026 at 11:20 AM
3: (An overlooked animated gem that also sadly went under most people’s radar)
January 1, 2026 at 11:20 AM
4: (Despite how bad of a year this was, it was surprisingly great for the horror genre)
January 1, 2026 at 11:20 AM
5: (The first of this year’s two great furry sequels)
January 1, 2026 at 11:20 AM
6: (Yeah, you all knew this would be on here)
January 1, 2026 at 11:20 AM
7: (In my opinion, one of the most underrated of the year next to Mickey 17 and Elio)
January 1, 2026 at 11:20 AM
8: (Ironic that Smurfs came out at the same time as this. A once cursed franchise with no good film adaptations finally got a good one while Smurfs just made everyone apologise to Lost Village)
January 1, 2026 at 11:20 AM
9: (I know this is number one on most people’s lists and I might like it a lot more on rewatch, but so far, it’s good, but not my favourite)
January 1, 2026 at 11:20 AM
10: (Ya’ll completely forgot this film existed didn’t you?)
January 1, 2026 at 11:20 AM
Might as well start off the new year with listing my top favourite films of last year.
Keep in mind this list will most likely change once I see films like Superman and One Battle After Another (yes, believe it or not, I haven’t actually seen those yet)
Here are my honorable mentions first.
