At some point the left needs to contend with the fact that your average cop wants you in a body bag and that no amount of public pressure or "optics" is gonna change that.

You're just delusional. The problems that exist here are so much more foundational than just one candidate or one party. Trump is the catalyst for a systemic rot that has to be burned away.

Until we, as a society, just accept that the string of mass shootings caused by white nationalists isn't a fluke, but endemic to their ideology, we will never put an end to mass shootings. Background checks must be expanded to include the white nationalists for the domestic terrorists they are.

It's important to remember that cops are the most loyal Trump supporters out there. Historically, cops always comply with government orders, this time, these cops will do it with a smile on their faces. When they demand that you do what you are told, just know they are BEGGING that you say No.
