I feel a lingering sense of pride because I totally biffed it today in a crosswalk carrying approximately a paycheck’s worth of fancy eggs without breaking a single one. I might have broke my kneecaps instead, but the bruise that lingers for the next 3 weeks will be a reminder of my accomplishment.
