This 👇🏼 is what pains me, people I went to high school gloating MAGAts having no morals and not 1 oz of humanity
The uncomfortable truth is the "Trump campaigned on egg prices" thing is something Dems tell themselves to rationalize what happened in November. Trump actually campaigned on hate and abusing power -- and won!

The sorry state of the American electorate is a difficult thing to come to terms with.
He's not even trying to hide it

So this happened, googled youth & museums and saw a study on youth.gov that I couldn’t access. Either I’m caught up in conspiracy theories or it’s a victim of Trump’s America.

You can’t make it any clearer
Jasmine Crockett: "The problem is that Americans thought it was okay to take a full fledged criminal and make him the President of the US and then they want to act aghast when he does criminal things. Let me tell you, we have a thug in charge of the US and if we don't wake up we may not have a US"

I find this to be the saddest consequence of his presidency
"The tragic irony is that Trump will inherit a thriving economy, which he’ll claim he restored to its pre-2020 greatness through sheer force of will, and neither the media nor even his fellow Dems are likely to spend much time defending Biden’s record."
Joe Biden's tragic presidency
He accomplished a lot — except the most important thing.

Been wondering if Dems will would consider articles of impeachment on the 21st of Jan considering the president is a convicted criminal. 🤔

This was the reason I got when i questioned people about their trump vote.
the only phrase dems need for the next 4 years is “how does this lower egg prices” and i havent seen it once
Trump: "We're going to be changing the name of the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of America."

(He's serious.)

One of the many reasons I cringe over idolisation of Reagan
It just so happens that I wrote this piece tonight before learning of President Carter’s passing. It contains some essential history about Carter’s loss to Ronald Reagan in 1980. open.substack.com/pub/sherrily...

What Trumpism did was provide a way for deeply unhappy people to spend their time instead of doing anything to change their circumstances

It's like meth in the form of a so-called "political movement"

There’s a narrative that Gaetz was a deliberate head-fake — a distraction to boost the real candidate — but I am always suspicious of narratives that attribute four-dimensional chess to trump as opposed to knocking over the table and eating the checkers.
