This song came up randomly during the commute home yesterday, and it's been stuck in my head ever since. Honestly, if this song were the first thing I ever heard by #Wire, they would have instantly been my favorite band. Instead, I was underwhelmed by Pink Flag and my tastes evolved elsewhere...

My wife's employer is having a holiday party on the top floor of the Flatiron, um, Hotel? (That just sounds weird.) So I'm eating fancy appetizers like they're dinner (trust me, it's dinner) and taking advantage of the open bar. Oh look! It's a rooftop bar! In #Asheville! Go figure!

Listening to "Fugazi" by Marillion for the first time in more than 30 yrs on Pandora's classic prog channel and realizing what I loved the most about Marillion turned out to be their greatest liability - Fish. Gawd what a load of pretentious shite. Makes me appreciate their musicianship more now...
