And the vocalist saying "Chorus!" right before the chorus is just beautiful.

... but yeah, I totally get the feeling from this song that their label at the time were probably demanding a single from them, so they wrote their catchiest pop song to date and gave it lyrics about photography and cartography and gave it an inaccessible name.

I had tickets to see them at Hollywood High after their first album came out, but they had to cancel the tour. 😫
