Yeah, Dark Urge isn't really a good first option because it subverts a lot of the important story beats/elements and draws a lot of that impact from the assumption that the player knows what is being subverted or changed.

Yeah, my (very limited, I am not a rhetoric scholar) understanding of the idea is that the deliberate inaccuracy is a signal of authenticity to the audience, so same vibe as what you're getting.
