It’s not that artists are (all) greedy and draw for profit either, but to even break even at cons now you HAVE to follow trends, you simply can’t rely on passion. Cons don’t love artists. I just hope the artist still loves art.

I was fortunate that I was an artist alley artist many many years ago before any of us could dream of making a living out of it so I always got to draw for pleasure. It was when I found I had to balance what I loved and what made money that I decided to quit

I think keep them together or at least have both reference the other (eg a smaller version of red hot in deep blue’s one)
