sure enough UPS just announced today they are laying off like 30k ppl. lol. lmao
January 27, 2026 at 10:29 PM
and i’m supposed to thank these guys and vote for them. tbh u are not reality based, you are vibes based. you are not paying attention to the reality of what the dem party is or what they stand for. they do not stand for or fight for the things you want. you are being grifted upon
January 27, 2026 at 4:58 PM
frankly u are delusional if you think dems offer some in road to leftist policy. they are more right wing than ever. today they are very excited about body cams and new laws for ice. thereby further legitimizing its existence and throwing more of our money into the fascist army terrorizing my city
January 27, 2026 at 4:58 PM
the only reason i even mention gaza is libs support what we are experiencing in minneapolis but for other countries. when it starts happening here suddenly it’s appalling and ghastly and shocking. and it’s only .00001% of what other places get from us. the self serving hypocrisy is too much for me
January 27, 2026 at 4:06 PM
that would be nice but gaza has been going on for 40 years with near total support from dems the whole time, biden even invited netanyahu to speak at congress. they dismissed protestors concerns, used state violence on them, and continued sending weapons and money
January 27, 2026 at 4:03 PM
like honestly dems right now are saying they will put QR codes on ICE. schumer says NO shutdown. huh?? and now tonight walz and frey and doing victory laps while homan (obama appointee) is coming to town replace noem and he will be working with the army. wow
January 27, 2026 at 7:08 AM
ok i live in minneapolis and while it is a humanitarian crisis they are not destroying society as we know it. and it's the ppl's solidarity, not dem leadership that's making changes. & tbh seeing .0001% of the violence the state is capable of, idk how i can support any dem that isn't totally antiwar
January 27, 2026 at 7:08 AM
okay thanks for the metaphors. i don't operate that way, real life is extremely nuanced and many things can happen at once, this idea that there are perfect times to advance policies sound extremely silly and honestly fake, almost obstructionist if i'm being cynical
January 27, 2026 at 6:53 AM
also u keep evading the point that dems keep moving right. for years i have been hearing 'vote them in then we can move them left' that does not happen though! NOW is the time to demand things bc they need leftist votes
January 27, 2026 at 6:45 AM
idk what u are talking about anymore. you don't even understand that your basic position is inherently a threat so idk how to even discuss anything past that. i am asking for health care and you are talking in metaphors and implying the left is sabotaging our only hope or whatever. not buyin it
January 27, 2026 at 6:43 AM
again, this is position is actually a veiled threat. it's saying 'we could stop this, but we won't unless you agree to our position.' doesn't sound like the good guys! oh and then we do get them into office... and they don't adopt any leftist policies. in fact they end up moving right. wow
January 27, 2026 at 6:30 AM
do you not see that this is basically a threat to not criticize the party otherwise we will 'alienate' them? which materially works out to: they will not adopt leftist stances. which they aren't anyway? so i really don't understand your position at all
January 27, 2026 at 6:20 AM
sure that'd be great. but it's not how it works really so operating from that standpoint doesn't make sense. also yes u kinda do have to inspire ppl. especially when the economy is being wrecked and prices are increasing and we have 1000% awareness of free healthcare etc in other places
January 27, 2026 at 6:17 AM
BlueLib refusal to understand this is a failure to realize the one basic American ideological point that is valid across nearly the entire American political spectrum: legitimacy of rule is gained thru voting FOR leaders. Nothing short of this will motivate them to get to the polls, as we have seen
